We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our engineering team. You'll be at the forefront of our development lifecycle, working on mission-critical systems that serve both consumers and dealers. This is a hands-on role where you'll ship code daily, leverage data-driven insights, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
Development & Engineering
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices
- Implement comprehensive unit and functional tests
- Debug and resolve issues across the entire technology stack
- Deploy code to production daily with confidence
- Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development
Technical Excellence
- Develop and integrate services using REST, RPC, and SOAP protocols
- Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms
- Build and maintain microservices with event-driven architecture
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve software performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
Collaboration & Impact
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers
- Contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions
- Deliver data-driven software solutions and analytics
- Focus on creating exceptional value for customers

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
Technical Skills
- Core Programming
- Expert-level proficiency in Go (Golang)
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
Database Technologies
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS-SQL)
- Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, Cassandra, MongoDB)
- Experience with in-memory databases (Redis, Memcached)
- Solid understanding of database design principles
Architecture & Integration
- Experience building microservices architectures
- Knowledge of event-driven systems using message brokers (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
- Proficiency in API development, integration and documentation
Development Practices
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficient with Git version control branching strategies
- Strong testing mindset (unit, integration, functional testing)
- Technical documentation skills

- Track record of debugging complex, production-level issues across the full stack
- Proven ability to build clean, well-tested, and maintainable codebases
- 2+ years of production experience with Go (Golang)
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Performance benchmarking, optimization, and monitoring expertise
- Experience using AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.)
Frameworks & Technologies
- Go ecosystem: Gin framework experience
- Additional frameworks: .NET, Python Django
- Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipeline)
